The overall goal of the Camp is to educate and challenge players of all levels, while focusing the serious soccer player towards achieving their next level.

Camp will offer both technical and tactical sessions, delivered by our                   nationally recognized coaching staff.  Campers will be placed into age and ability specific groups as to optimize the environment for each player’s development.

Our curriculum is designed to challenge each player through the combination of small and big-sided match play coupled with daily training sessions focused on various technical and tactical aspects. A recruiting seminar for high school campers will be offered during camp.

This camp is geared toward the serious soccer player who has aspirations of playing in high school, college or beyond.

Goalkeeper Training

Specialized goalkeeping sessions are held during the week by TCU’s Goalkeeper coach – Kelsey Davis, former USA National Team GK.  At the Eric Bell Soccer Academy, the goalkeeper is not the “forgotten player.” Our experienced goalkeeping staff will teach you the key technical, tactical, psychological, and physical aspects of this crucial position. Individualized training and evaluation is only one aspect of our first-rate goalkeeping program.

The training experience is further enhanced as the goalkeepers are incorporated into small and large group training activities with the field players. These match-related activities provide the goalkeepers with an opportunity to blend technical fundamentals with tactical decision-making. The combination of individual and team training is an integral part in the development of a goalkeeper and the goalkeepers will be evaluated as they perform individually and in 11v11 matches every day.

Housing and Meals

Residential campers will utilize the same facilities as the TCU Soccer Team.  During camp, residential campers will stay in the newly built TCU Dormitories and dine at the on campus dining halls to get the full experience of a TCU soccer player. Campers will be housed two in a room and one roommate request will be accepted per application. Residential Campers will be given 3 meals each day.  Dinner on July 10 will be the first meal served and breakfast on July 13 will be the final meal.

How To Enroll

Register online by clicking the REGISTER tab at the top or at the bottom of the page.  A $45 discount will be offered to those signing up in groups of 6 or more.  Please contact the camp office for a PROMO code if signing up 6 or more campers.   

Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $125 administrative fee.  To receive a refund the camp office must be notified at least 72 hours before camp starts.

Roommates

Campers will be housed in the state of the art dorm complex’s on the TCU campus. Campers may indicate choice of roommates and requests will be accommodated where possible. All campers must provide their own linens.

Check in

Camp registration is planned between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. on July 10th. The first training session is that afternoon at 3:00 pm.  Camp ends on July 13th following the closing ceremonies at approximately Noon.

Camp Ball

Each camper must have a soccer ball at camp. You can bring your own ball or purchase a hand-stitched TCU soccer ball from the camp for $35 paid in advance. Please mark the appropriate box in the registration process.

Camp Insurance

The TCU Soccer Camp carries secondary medical insurance. Parents are expected to provide primary medical insurance for their child.

Medical Forms

Please bring all completed medical forms with you at check-in.

Transportation

DFW International Airport is located 20 minutes from the camp.  Bus and train stations also serve the DFW area. The camp will provide transportation to and from DFW International Airport for a $20 round trip fee. Please call 817-343-1142 for details on this service.
