2017 College Coach Invitees: TCU, TEXAS TECH, AUBURN, LAMAR UNIVERSITY, TEXAS WESLEYAN, UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, TEXAS WOMEN’S UNIVERSITY, SAGU, AUSTIN COLLEGE, UT-DALLAS, EAST TEXAS BAPTIST, MARY-HARDIN BAYLOR .
This two-day event is designed for advanced player development and exposure to some of the nation’s top college coaches. College Coaches from across the region and country will be in attendance, and will represent Divisions 1, 2 and 3. In addition to college coaches, several Frog players will be employed by the camp for demonstration purposes.
Over the course of the weekend attendees will participate in training, scrimmages and a college talk seminar.
The TCU Soccer Staff believes that “the game is the best teacher.” The same philosophy will be applied at camp. The focus of all activities will be learning through play. Enrollment in the camp will be extremely limited to allow individual attention for each player from the staff of college coaches. A combination of small sided and full 11 vs 11 games will be at the core of the camp curriculum.
Players should plan on being available Saturday morning beginning at 7:30 am, and finishing Sunday afternoon by 1:00 pm.
The Spring Camp will be held in the state of the art Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium. This facility boasts 1,500 seats and features both playing and workout spaces, a press box, and ample parking. A covered porch overlooking the field allows fans of the Purple and White to host parties as well as youth teams . To view images of The Athletic Field House, go online to www.gofrogs.com. The natural grass surface guarantees each participant a proper training environment, which will allow for the best exposure for college coaches.
Housing & Meals
Housing and meals are not included in the camp price therefore players who are attending from outside the area will need to make their own arrangements prior to attending camp. There are several dining options in and around the campus. Hotel information can be found under the Hotel/Housing tab at the top of the page. For any questions regarding meals and housing please feel free to contact the camp office by email: email@example.com
Who Can Attend?
Camp is open to Girls ages 14 and up. Field players and goalkeepers are welcome, however goalkeeper slots are very limited and will fill up quickly. Please be sure to register as a goalkeeper if you would like to be placed with the gks. Because of the nature of this camp, activities are designed and the focus will be on high-level soccer players. Players interested in camp must be in High School and have college soccer at some level as a goal.
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $50 administrative fee. To receive a refund the camp office must be notified at least one week prior to the start of camp. Refunds are not issued for any soccer related injury and/or illness occurred during camp.
